This new icon tells you which of your friends have recently played, if you click it you will be able to send things to those active players.
New Social Pop-ups:
There will now be more targeted pop-ups asking you to join things like jobs that your neighbors are running. Screenshots will follow as we run into more.
Questions: Do you like the new Layout icon to the right of your screen (if you have it)? Will you be adding the Trawler Gnome to your collection?
Instead of improving the game every new thing makes it worst.Now i have to log on 3-4 times couse my shockwawe player crushed down as a result of stupid pop-ups

Can they have all the popups pop up from the dashboard(the screen that shows all your neighbors) on the bottom of the screen, like the info that pop ups when you are working on a job. When this happens it doesn’t mess up my game., and yes the pop ups for the add neighbors is annoying , I know who is my neighbor , and who isn’t
Farmville seems to be getting worse and worse w/pop ups and slow downs. I know alot of Farmer now going to Frontierville because of it. I’m about ready to give it all up and tyr another game site if they keep it up. Bring it back to the old days, no pop ups, no live stream under the farm were working on, who cares that someone just planed a field of acorns. Gheeze! And as far as fertilizing goes, glad I got all my ribbons before they added all this extra stuff cause it’s so slow going anymore, will take farmers forever to gain all the ribbons. I ignore (cancel) most pop ups!!

wELL, I’m afraid I have to go along with the majority on this particular subject. I am in touch with my FV neighbors, and all of us share comments, etc. with each other throughout the day. We do not need an icon telling us who is active and who is not. Also, I completed my gem collection a while ago, and it is very irritating to constantly be bombarded with little pop-ups dealing with finding more gems!
I hope noone takes offense at my remarks over at Farmville. I am totally “addicted” to the game. And I think the addition of the crafting cottages and market stalls has given a new surge of energy to the overall game. I think it has added an element of stratagy that was missing before. I like that!

I am clueless why FV keeps trying to add more and more stuff while neglecting the current problems. Every week there is a new theme (New England, Swiss, French, etc) sometimes these themes overlap each other its impossible to keep up. Now with all these popups, i keep accidentally clicking the wrong button and either go to my neighbors farm (thus losing all my progress) or i click yes to post to my FB feed (thus getting the annoying out of sync message) argghh!! i still enjoy the game and dont plan on giving up just yet though. sorry for the long rant.
I agree with every one else about too many pop-ups, get rid of them, they are causeing farms not to load, then freeze, I have had nothing but trouble since you started all this, I’m down more then playing.
No more pop-ups!!!! I absolutely hate the new gifting pop-ups, and the new friend pop-ups are just annoying. No more pop-ups!!! We know how to play the game, we know how to gift, we know how to add friends, we get it! Just focus on adding new gifts, themes, and necessary improvements. Enough with the shockwave crashing nonsense!
I agree. I get annoyed when I go to my gift box and the game tries to force me to send gifts. Also, the people it’s reminding me to ask to be my neighbor, do not play. If they want to do the mystery game, they need to alternate it with boxes, so they can be sent as gifts. I feel overwhelmed sometimes by all the stuff. Too many overlapping projects. I really like farmville and haven’t given up yet, but sometimes it’s not as fun.
Too many pop-ups will I’m trying to farm. I like most of them, it’s just too many all at once. Maybe if they were to the side as icons that you could take care of after you finish farming. You could click 1 at a time and be able to decide how you want to deal with them. I really like the pop-ups that tell you a friend needs help with some thing. I haven’t seen 1 yet, but 1 to tell about barn raisings would be super.

I couldn’t agree with you more NO MORE POP UPS how can anyone farm with all these pop ups fuel, need fertilizing can they at least wait until your done ???? Now that would be an improvement.
Oh I forgot to mention you work your butt off to build this craft building which was free, then turns out it takes all your coins to upgrade it. Come on farmville you give nothing for free…….

I HAVE THREE CONCERNS TODAY THAT I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH. THE FIRST CONCERN IS THAT I AM STILL LOSING GIFTS WHEN I RETRIEVE THEM FROM THE HOME PAGE AND THEN GOING TO MY GIFT BOX. A REALLY BIG PROBLEM IS ALL NEW NEIGHBORS WHEN THEY GIFT TO ME THE GIFTS JUST POOF BEFORE I CAN GET THEM IN MY GIFT BOX. IT HAPPENS WHEN SOMEONE IS NEW. THE NEXT CONCERN IS EVERYTIME I GO TO MY CRAFT MARKET MY SCREEN FREEZES UP AND I CAN NOT DO ANYTHING EXCEPT ESCAPE. I AM GETTING WAY BEHIND MY OTHER FRIENDS AND IT IS VERY FRUSTRATING. THE LAST CONCERN ARE THE ITEMS IN THE DECOTATION SECTION OF THE MARKET. OTHER THAN THE NEW BUILDINGS ALL THE OTHER ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN THERE FOR MONTHS HAVE GOTTEN OLD. THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH NEW ITEMS THAT CAN BE PURCHASED WITH COINS NOT FV CASH. 3 OR 4 MONTHS AGO YOU HAD REALLY NICE THINGS TO GET. ITEMS LIKE THE SWING SET, CLOTHES LINE, GREENERY FOR OUTDOOR DECORATIONS ,ETC. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THESE CONCERNS. I know for a fact that the most recent players to the side is BS. My friend hasn’t blocked the game, but he certainly doesn’t play it. Just another way for us to bother people who don’t care about it. I gotta get him to block it. (:
What is going on with the bees. I wait for the bees to be 100% and get the honey. Then 5sec. later a little window comes up and sayes I have not been taken care of my bees and i lose 1. WTH….Is any one else haveing this dilemma with there bees????
I find Zynga’s developers have their heads up their butts about pop ups in ALL of their games I’ve played. They are also the glitchiest/SLOWEST and you wonder WHY??? They could rid all of their games of 99% of all these inane pop ups. If they bring any more into FV I’m quitting (almost level 95 and USED to be addicted). Game is SO SLOW with them saving every other click when u harvest/plow/plant that it takes me 2 hrs just to do that and harvest animals and trees. If they don’t do something about how slow this game is no one but the people who have spent hundreds of $’s are going to be playing. Lost count in last two weeks of all the posts on my wall saying “Don’t send any more gifts for FV I quit!” People say game isn’t FUN anymore, way too much work (heard “I’d get a second job and at least get PAID for all the work!” if I wanted to do this much!) and everyone is complaining about how damn slow it is. WHY do we need to know how many bushels we now have (pop up) and how long our stall is open for Zynga? For crying out loud.. if we WANT to know we can go to the stall and find out. Let’s FIX this before adding any more new CRAP! I used to LOVE playing FV now I DREAD going into harvest etc…. WTG ZYNGA…You wrecked the best game on here! I’m not alone in thinking this believe me!!!!

I just noticed that I am not getting all my neighbors who have Winery, Bakery and Spas…did they (Zynga) do the selecting again like they did on who could co-op with who? I am not able to buy goods from them if they dont show up….Not all my neighbors are showing up (still) and I can see that they have Crafting Cottages. WTH?
I did like the option of sending people who have recently worked on their farms and additional gift. I used it a few times…but it has now stopped working. I don’t like the pop ups but the icon to click is a nice why to send more items in one day.
Today I finally got enough hollyhocks planted and harvested to receive the sign….. (2 stars and 1624/1500 harvested), but no pop-up… no sign, nothing at all….. can anybody tell me why? I’m not amused….
