Today we had an interesting post from a user on our blog, he is claiming that he logged into his account and had a new layout on his farm. This is the first we have heard or seen anything about this, so for now we are treating this is as a plausible rumor. While we do not think he made it up and photo-shopped this image, we also have no proof either way. We will continue to look into this and see if we can find any other information or screenshots. In the meantime we want to thank Kyle/Firstbng who posted this and let us know!

I have attached an image which shows my farm menu when i logged in, at first i didn’t even pick up on it until i went to harvest, so i took a screen cap went to access my harvester and as soon as i clicked on it the game popped up saying the game has been enhanced which i clicked ok and the page refreshed then it reverted back to the original game menu . anyways i did get a screen cap and because i have been coming here a while now getting the latest updates and i have yet seen anything on the home page about it so i thought i would post it.

Kid has a lot of cash for such a lower level…34 but almost 2 mill?

That’s not impossible, I had over 1.5 Mil at that level, most are saving for the villa and there has been many new crops and things like v-day and Christmas presents that helped gain serious coins.
I have 1 mill at lvl 38 so.. its not to far of a stretch
lvl 42 with 4.2 million coins… getting lots of coins really is not hard at all.

I’m kinda worried about it… I don’t know how big that is going to be on my screen.. hell my screen resolution is only 1024 x 600 and its already hard enough to see everything lol

I think I like the layout that we already have. If they want to do something useful, they can eventually offer us second farms. Got so much stuff I need more room. I already have over 1 million dollars and I’m still on lvl 34. BUT, I Do Not like the new Layout.

i like it. everything nice and neat at the bottom…
I was talking to my g/f about this the other day. They game could use a third tool type just for harvesting (like a plough is for ploughing).
This lead to discussion about how the current layout is getting a bit cramped at the moment.
I thought they could redesign the bar so that there were more boxes, like this one suggests, separate tools into type, single, vehicle, etc.
The other thing that would almost be as good would be hotkeys for menu’s and the ability to to hit enter on message boxes.
for examble ‘h’ would be for harvest. ‘m’ for move etc. at least then i could harvest things and delete things at a reasonable pace.

i don’t care how much anybody else has in coins at what level…seems to be way too much of that in this game…i enjoy playing the game and the new design will be nicer for getting screenshots…just my comment
the icon there beside the gift box LOOKS like a weather icon (sun with clouds)
is farmville going to become more like real farming?
Byron… if you look very closely, it is actually like a “seal”… that icon would be for our awards I believe. ^__^
So what are the wavy lines below?
How do people get full screen pictures that include toolbars, etc.? If I press the camera, it only takes “partial view” shots. I’m not saying this pic is unbelievable, just asking how it’s done.

alt + print screen will copy your screen. save it as a bitmap and use another image program to create a jpeg file.

I just loaded the game and got a message about St. Patrick’s Day. It says that there’s a cauldron in my gift box that my friends can fill with gold.
I like the concept, and I like everything at the bottom. I’d like it even better if the neighbor bar went away entirely and we worked with neighbors from the neighbor tab (which would have useful info like when they last visited/fertilized your farm). A girl can dream, right?? LOL

I’d really like a rotate button, so you can plant/place stuff behind buildings too. And you’ll start seeing more people try arrangements other than placing everything in the corner or along the edges

The Million Coins is possible, My mom is on level 39 and has 2 mil+ coins. I don’t know how she did it considering she started playing after I did but She plays the same way we all do. I’m on level 30 with 700,000 + coins but I think it is in just what she chooses to plant. She is on more then I am. (Especially when my computer spazzes out and dies etc etc..)
Also about the new layout, I personally do not like it. I think it takes up to much space at the bottom, and I like the current state of it. It’s easy to know where everything is and I hope Zynga keeps the layout of all our information the same.
