In an effort to keep the game exciting, Zynga continues to release new content for in-game play, and also new ribbons to make us work towards a goal.
The batch of upcoming ribbons have some that sound crazy, while some sound like a nightmare. So here is the new ribbon titles, the requirements, and the rewards. Of course just like anything else unreleased, and even released stuff, all stuff is subject to change.
Hoarder: Requires putting Decos/Buildings into storage, Obviously this is an easy one for someone with a 5 FV$ Barns, or someone with 17 regular red barns, Or some combo of any of the storage methods (before this ribbon is activated, storage may have changed)
Yellow, store 8 items, you will get 50 xp, and 500 coins
White, store 20 items, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, store 50 items, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, store 100 items, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
They of Mystery (RELEASED): I hate this title but its a pretty cool ribbon, it requires one to spend FV$, or maybe the saved mystery boxes from the Holiday Tree will count towards it, expect this one to be either impossible or easy depending on your spending habits.
Yellow, open 2 mystery boxes, you will get 50 xp, and 500 coins
White, open 6 mystery boxes, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, open 15 mystery boxes, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, open 30 mystery boxes, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Fenced In (RELEASED): The name pretty much clues you in, its having a ton of fences, for those that love to box in all their stuff, you won’t have issue, but for those that go from edge to edge, may be hard for you.
Yellow, own 5 fences, you will get 25 xp, and 500 coins
White, own 50 fences, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, own 100 fences, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, own 250 fences, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Baled Out: This has nothing to do with the current economic issues in the world, but all about those lovable hay bales. Many of us used them for the Pack-rat ribbon, now they can be used towards another ribbon.
Yellow, own 5 haybales, you will get 25 xp, and 500 coins
White, own 50 haybales, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, own 100 haybales, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, own 250 haybales, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Gas Guzzler: This one either will be real easy for everyone, or just easy for those that buy fuel. If fuel keeps being in the eggs, then shouldn’t be a problem, I’m saving my Holiday tree and Egg fuel for this one.
Yellow, use 10 fuel refills, you will get 50 xp, and 1000 coins
White, use 25 fuel refills, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, use 50 fuel refills, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, use 100 fuel refills, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Need For Seed (RELEASED): This is the 2nd of the machine ribbons, expect the harvester ribbon at some point. This is just using your seeder to seed your plots.
Yellow, seed 200 plots with seeder, you will get 50 xp, and 1000 coins
White, seed 1000 plots with seeder, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, seed 2500 plots with seeder, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, seed 10000 plots with seeder, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Seasoned Decorator: This is all about those “Limited Edition” Decorations we see for Halloween, the Fair, Aliens, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc. Just having that festive cheer, results in ribbon.
Yellow, own 5 limited edition deco items, you will get 25 xp, and 500 coins
White, own 25 limited edition deco items, you will get 50 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, own 50 limited edition deco items, you will get 100 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, own 100 limited edition deco items, you will get 250 xp, and 10000 coins
Cracked: This is an easy one for you folks with tons of friends, or hang out in certain places on the internet. Just click egg links, assuming they don’t change the probability of the eggs, this should take just a day or few.
Yellow, open 5 mystery eggs, you will get 50 xp, and 1000 coins
White, open 10 mystery eggs, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, open 25 mystery eggs, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, open 50 mystery eggs, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Cat Lady (RELEASED): This one has the best name. Its hard to say at this point if you gotta brush 100 different cats, or you could get away with doing the same twenty cats, five times. With gray and black cats in the tree, plus adoptable blacks, this should be a easy one to knock out.
Yellow, brush 10 cats, you will get 50 xp, and 1000 coins
White, brush 25 cats, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, brush 50 cats, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, brush 100 cats, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Foremost Fruit Farmer (RELEASED): Think Vegetable Virtuoso, but with fruits, Shouldn’t take forever for you folks that love the berries. Watermelons on the other hand…
Yellow, harvest 15 fruit crops, you will get 50 xp, and 500 coins
White, harvest 500 fruit crops, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, harvest 2500 fruit crops, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, harvest 10000 fruit crops, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Eggcelent Discovery (RELEASED): I like this name almost as much as “Cat Lady”, a fairly straight forward ribbon, find eggs. Where this could get confusing, is if it means finding eggs from your coop, or finding eggs in your neighbors coop when you go to feed their chickens.
Yellow, find 5 mystery eggs, you will get 50 xp, and 1000 coins
White, find 10 mystery eggs, you will get 100 xp, and 2500 coins
Red, find 25 mystery eggs, you will get 250 xp, and 5000 coins
Blue, find 100 mystery eggs, you will get 1000 xp, and 10000 coins
Ultimate Tailgate Party: “Limited Time! Get 2 Plates of Nachos from friends to earn the yellow ribbon.”
Yellow Ribbon: Get 2 Plates of Nachos, reward: 500 coins, 25 XP
White Ribbon: Get 6 Plates of Nachos, reward: 1500 coins, 50 XP
Red Ribbon: Get 15 Plates of Nachos, reward: 2500 coins, 100 XP
Blue Ribbon: Get 30 Plates of Nachos, reward: 5000 coins, 250 XP
Competitive Eater: “Limited Time! Eat 10 Plates of Nachos to earn the yellow ribbon.”
Yellow Ribbon: Eat 10 Plates of Nachos, reward: 500 coins, 25 XP
White Ribbon: Eat 25 Plates of Nachos, reward: 1500 coins, 50 XP
Red Ribbon: Eat 50 Plates of Nachos, reward: 2500 coins, 100 XP

I wouldn’t expect them to add the ability to let more coops in, they intended it to be at 1, so they’d have more egg control.
When will these ribbons be in effect? I’ve selling off a lot of the decorations I get in the tree because I don’t have room, but it looks like I’ll need them for a ribbon.

holy hell thats a lot of ribbons. mystery box and storage are going to be IMPOSSIBLE.
I’m not spending my FV cash just for a ribbon. Those mystery boxes cost too much. I can use my FV cash for something I want. Besides, I might not even want what is in that box.
I thought the same way, but I LOVE almost every single gift I have gotten outta the boxes. . . I almost have my ribbon, and I have 60 items in storage with one barn and three tool sheds, that have each been expanded three times!!!

: “It is egg poaching season and and zynga needs your help. some of your neighbors are running more than the one egg per day or they run more than one coop. and we here at zynga will generously reward those who help us catch the because we are just too arrogant, ignorant, and incompetent to write code and script that ACTUALLY works. So help us make an example of your totally horrible neighbors who have fun playing with our bad code. LOL
catch your egg poaching neighbors and get the following ribbons and rewards:
yellow: catch 10 neighbors who lay more than one egg per day > 1000 coins and 50 xp
white: catch 50 neighbors who lay more than 20 eggs per day > 5000 coins and 100 xp
after completing these requirements then you must:
red: catch 50 neighbors with 2 to 10 coops > 50 fv dollars and 10000 xp
blue: catch 50 neighbors with 11 or more coops > 100 fv cash, a choice of fvc barns, 200 fv cash and a letter from the developers congratulating you on being the biggest a$$ on the block (may come with a letter of eviction from your neighbors).

i have one chicken coop filled with 20 golden chix (plus have lots of white, black, and brown ones from the tree) and have NEVER produced a Mystery Egg. how does that happen?
It’s simply random. Just harvest your coop every day and eventually one will come.
finally got a golden egg from my coop.
Would anyone know why my friend gets 3XP for every bag of fertilizer he uses unlike me who get only 1XP per bag?(it really helps to level up for example: help 50 neighbours five plots each with 3xp for one bag = 750xp additionally EVERYDAY!!!)

Some of these ribbons are going to rile up the gamer kiddies on the Zynga forums (you know, the ones that think Zynga devs should work 24/7 for no pay), particularly the fuel and mystery box ones.
And there are several I won’t even bother trying for. But all in all, I’m glad they’re adding additional ribbons.
I should be able to get “Seasoned Decorator” with my luminary fences alone.
The Y of Mystery on the other hand……
They could allow more coops and just lower the percentage for the chance of finding a mystery egg. I haven’t found an egg all week anyhow, but I do have about 100 chickens.
What do you mean by “hang out in certain places on the internet”? Are there places that post eggs? I only have a few friends that play FV, so I hardly ever get eggs!

here’s one you should have for Easter. Earn ribbons for Easter Egg Hunts. Everyday an egg will be hidden on the farms somewhere and you have to visit the farms to find them. Earn ribbons for that. I don’t know if that is possible to hide eggs on the farms from your end of the game. That would be fun! Different colored eggs earn different ribbons. Or you could do quantities of eggs found.
Valentines day ribbon. Have a valentines day stand that neighbors can gift presents (red, pink, striped etc.)to each other to be opened on valentines day. similar to the christmas tree process.
When we finally get our FV dogs, watch what happens — like with the black cats, first uncommon then swamped with them (thanks at least partially to the “holiday tree”) — then the natural progression of events would be to set up a ribbon as a reward for “Brush dog” and since hardly anybody would want to brush the same dog 250 times to earn the ribbon, it will appropriately be called Puppy Mill Prince, of course as complement to Cat Lady.
Have there been any rumours about the storage ribbon “hoarder” lately?
I fear as soon as I put 100 things into my storage, the same will happen as it did with the fences.. I’d have to throw everything away and build 100 new storages…
