Interesting update today everyone. New features and new upcoming stuff as well. 
Minor Stuff:
- If you got the new fuel promotion available, you will also get more fuel in eggs. Gold now holds 30 fuel. Please let me know what you are getting from black and brown eggs fuel wise.
- Fenced In now credits you for fences you already have placed.
New Feature:
This works a lot like mastery. It looks like once 10 people help you do it again till you have completed all 3 stars. Don’t delete it off your wall until you have finished the mastery. 
Note: Storage is still capped at 100 maximum, so if you already have the max, this does nothing for you (unless you want to sell off some of your barns or tool sheds, but you might want to keep them in case the limit of 100 is made bigger).
Shows the buildings you own and can expand.
Get friends to collect a 100 coin bonus and help "raise your barn" or other storage.
Looks like we will be able to upgrade our coops, dairy farm and garden sheds storage capacity soon as well!

A useful tip: if you raise up two garden sheds, it will take up the same amount of space as a barn but have loads more storage, and you can arrange it in different ways to fit your farm!
what does it mean to PET your animals
So I finished upgrading my barn, and it still only has 1 grain silo on it. How do I get all three like the white one pictured above?
You probably have the lights on your barn. I noticed this with mine. Once I turned the lights off, they were all there.

Not sure what you can do. Can you click the barn/shed and pick Expand from the menu. If you can, try giving up and doing it again? Not sure if that works as I haven’t tried it yet.
Also, the 3 days wasn’t saying that’s how long the feature would be around… That’s the time you have to collect 10 neighbors to help you. (From the time you post it on the wall, you’ve got three days. And each neighbor can contribute once per day.)
Okay I don’t understand this new storage system. I posted it, 10 friends helped me, when I got into the game it just showed 1 silo next to my red barn, it didn’t upgrade?
another question, can you expand everything? all tool shed and barns you have?
Anyone got any clues as to why my Fenced in won’t credit me for all my fences?
Same here. I have quite a few fences, but it only recognizes the ones I replaced. Many of mine are stuck behind a ton of trees (stupid knock on wood blue ribbon!!), and I want to get get credit for those too.
What do you mean “replaced”? Do you have to sell them and then buy them again?
That’s what I did with some of my fences. I have them surrounding my farm, and I sold and repurchased the “front” corner and a row in front of my animals. That was 51 fences (with many more throughout farm), and the system says I only have 27.
just saw one of the minor things you added to this post jake, thats so lame that NOW you get credit for the fences you already own! the other day i spent so much time buying and placing 250 fences and then reselling them all! oh well, good thing i had some coins to spare, and it turned out not being so bad and i got a ton of XP. after all the bonuses from the ribbons, and reselling the fences, the blue ribbon only cost a little over 50,000 coins.
yeah i had to buy and place all new fences too…i had a sore arm by the time i was done and they could have counted the fences we had in the first place…that is part of what they did during the down time we had….
I’ve a problem folks….my FV connection worked just fine until the barn raising icon showed up…I clicked thru it to see what it would do so I could decide what to do….then when I said ok…it did not publish for me and now nothing will publish for me…as when I get a mystery egg, it will not publish nor will the thank you bonuses publish when friends have visited my farm…I do not get the ‘publish’ window at all anymore…can anyone help me? Please!!!

I would try refreshing and waiting a bit, many people have had it stick and after a re-load or few work itself out. If after that you decide to try giving up, let me know how it works out.
I just got 10/10 on one of my barns. When I went to another barn to upgrade it, it showed that none of my storage buildings had been upgraded!!! Whats up with that??? Also, I have received NO credits at all for the fences I currently have. It recognized the ones I had in storage (I had placed all the christmas fence in storage) and took them out. I then sold an extra fence I had and it now says I need more fence in order to get my ribbon. Boooooo farmville!!! Please get all the glitches fixed!!!

Instead of using the “expand” option for 10 friends to help you out, you can also “buy” the expansion with 10fv cash. Wasn’t mentioned in the post

I don’t understand how you are getting credit for the fences you already have. I am not getting credit for those. Also, I already have a lot of fences and when I sell one it adds to what is need Help!
I am not getting credit either. Also my new friends won’t load. Farmville keeps telling me that I haven’t selected anyone when the add as a friend is the only option.

From a Black egg I received 15 fuels.
Just something interesting about the fuel I thought you might like to know. I had a 20 fuel refill in my gift box from a golden egg I was holding onto until after free fuel week was over (in case it somehow broke the fuel system) and when I logged in today it changed to 30 refills instead.
I noticed the same thing. Also, my 10 refills are now 15 refills. I guess we should be expecting the gas guzzler ribbon pretty soon then?
if you got 10/10 but you still can’t upgrade your barn (i.e. it says “give up”, just try switching between the “expand storage” screen and the “inventory” screen a couple times and it should expand ok.
unrelated question (sorry): does anybody know how long the snow-covered pasture will remain as an option? if i change back to green now will I be able to put the white blanket again later?

There is always bound to be problems with the game, just because you didn’t see any change doesn’t mean the majority didn’t. Zynga has not always proven to be consistent. We do not make statements that we do not verify from several sources.
Thanks Erin for the note…I have checked my fence ribbon status several times and I’ve been given credit for only five, the five I bought after the ribbon went active…did not receive any credits for the many fence sections I had already had on my farm before the ribbon went active…I’ll probably have to sell off the fence sections I already have and re-buy them. Fortunately I’m at a level with a healthy coin balance where I can afford to do that…but others who might have the same issue as I may not be as able to do that as quickly. Happy Farming!
Has anyone figured out this storage thing more? it said we could go back and see if our friends needed help, but it won’t let me help them again even after 2 days. It also said we’d get a discount for using farmville dollars based on the number of friends who helped, but when i clicked on it, it still said 10 FV dollars, which is what it was when i started.
I got my barn and some friends helped raise it but then I sold it before it had been upgraded. I bought a new barn to start over, and tried a tool shed too, but now that I have the new storage buildings it doesn’t show the “EXPAND” button on either of them. I’m really confused bout this and no one else that I’ve talked to about it has experinenced this. Did the expansion feature simply crash because I sold the building while in the process of upgrading?
It wont let me expand my barn in farmville. I bought a barn and went to expand it but it wont let me, there is no link to click on.. Idk what to do. You guys can get more neighbors easily. Just go to the farmville page on facebook and see who is talking on there. Those people love adding neighbors. And this expansion thing is great. I have 6 tool sheds at 14 each is 84 plus a barn. Definitely get tool sheds now, they take far less space. And for those of you who don’t like your neighbors, you probably each have 1 very popular neighbor who posts a lot of stuff, like gold eggs. Find one of their gold egg posts and copy and paste your expansion link as a comment to that egg. You’ll get a few clicks that way. And for those of you complaining about FV$, I find that Zynga likes to see who will spend the FV$ for stuff, but then make it free. I’ve gotten 200 fuel refills for free, I now have 100 storage spots without buying a fancy building, I have 4 donkeys, 6 lambs, 7 baby turkeys, a tire swing, carousels, animals floats, all things that were FV$ dependent before.
Has anyone else run into the issue of not being able to help with a neighbors barn raising more than once. It says you can come back tomorrow and help again, but that does not work as on day 2 and 3 it says you have already helped for that day. Does it require a new link be posted each day by the person raising the barn?

I have some family friends that joined FV then dropped out. I removed them from my FV neighbors and now they are permanently above and I would like to move them to my FB and take them out of FV. How???
